The National Off-Licence Association (NOffLA) welcomes the establishment of the Royal College of Physicians policy group on alcohol.
Speaking today (31 July) about the creation of the Royal College of Physicians policy group on alcohol, Chair of the National Off-Licence Association Evelyn Jones said, “NOffLA welcomes the establishment of this new policy group on alcohol. Given their high level of expertise in this area, we believe they can offer invaluable insights into the problems Ireland currently faces around the irresponsible sale, marketing and consumption of alcohol.
“Our Association looks forward to reading the findings of its report and any recommendations it may put forward in the future.
“It is the firm belief of our Association that we must tackle head on, the irresponsible practices that are employed in this country around the sale and marketing of alcohol. “
